Innovative Educator Academician Trainings have begun

Our university's mission is to "achieve excellence in education and training" and in line with the goals and objectives of the 2023-2027 Strategic Plan, Innovative Educator Academician Trainings are organized by our Center for academicians (educators) working in different units to learn interactive-active teaching methods, measurement-evaluation techniques and to use them efficiently in their classes. The trainings are designed as five modules: Preparing a Course Syllabus and Plan, Effective Classroom Management, Innovative Teaching Approaches, Measurement-Evaluation Methods and Applications, and Developing a Digital Content and Distance Education Environment. It is carried out in total for 30 hours; 20 hours of face-to-face and 10 hours online.

The first module of the "Innovative Educator Academician Training" organized by our Center was held in the conference hall on 05.03.2025 with the faculty members / staff of the Faculty of Law. Following Our Center Director Prof. Dr. Ersin KARADEMİR’s opening speech and information about the training program; within the scope of the module titled “Preparing a Course Syllabus and Plan”, our University Faculty of Education Department of Special Education faculty member and our Center Vice Director Assist Prof. Dr.  Esra ORUM ÇATTIK provided information on preparing a course syllabus, ECTS calculation based on workload, making a qualified course plan, compliance of program objectives and outcomes with TQF and program outcome-course gain association. The training, which received high participation from the faculty members of the Faculty of Law, will continue with other modules until the end of March and then the training program will be completed with online (asynchronous) trainings. It is aimed to spread the trainings to faculty members working in all units by the end of 2025.
